Wendy Bowden Crowther is a Shareholder at Clyde Snow. She received her juris doctor (J.D.) from the University of Utah College of Law. She attended college at the University of Utah , where she earned a bachelor of science in Anthropology and bachelor of arts in history.

In addition to her Utah license, Ms. Crowther is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

• Eminent Domain (Condemnation)

Ms. Crowther represents municipalities, water districts, irrigation companies, and individual water right holders. She regularly appears before the Division of Water Rights (Utah State Engineer), as well as the courts. She has experience representing clients in matters dealing with Reclamation Law, the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.

Ms. Crowther is a member of the Utah State Bar's Energy, Natural Resources & Environmental Law Section, She currently serves as the section treasurer and as the chair of the section's Water Law Committee. Ms. Crowther is a vice-chair of the American Bar Association Section of Environmental, Energy and Resources' Water Law Committee. She is co-chair of the 2008 ABA Water Law Conference. Ms. Crowther is a regular presenter at water law conferences and her presentations include Practicing Water Law in Utah (2003), Fundamentals of Water Law in Utah (2004), Water Right Sales & Transfers The Pitfalls (2004-2007), Utah Groundwater Rights (2004-2007), and Utah Water Law: The Nuts and Bolts of Administrative Practice (2005). She is the author of Native American Graves Protection & Reparations Act: How Kennewick Man Uncovered the Problems of NAGPRA , Journal of Land, Resources, Environmental Law, Vol. 20, No.2 (2000).
