Attorney Emily Lewis Joins Clyde Snow

Clyde Snow & Sessions is pleased to announce that attorney Emily E. Lewis has joined their Salt Lake City office as an associate. Her practice will focus on natural resources issues, primarily water law. She has worked with both individual rural water users and organized water entities to settle or litigate complex water disputes. Prior to joining Clyde Snow, Ms. Lewis represented the Utah State Engineer in comprehensive Water Rights General Adjudications across the state. Ms. Lewis received a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law, and a B.A. in political theory and constitutional democracy, and a B.A. in social relations from Michigan State University.

Announcing New Offices in Bend

SALT LAKE CITY - Clyde Snow & Sessions has relocated their offices in Bend to accommodate their growing clientele. Attorney Jonathan Clyde will be dividing his time between the Bend and Salt Lake City offices to support the expansion. An associate in the Salt Lake City office since 2009, Mr. Clyde focuses his practice on natural resources and water law providing solutions for individuals, corporations, and municipalities in matters of energy, water rights, water quality and real property. He will be joining attorney Reagan L. B. Desmond who opened the Oregon office in 2012. Ms. Desmond focuses her practice in the areas of natural resources, water and environmental law.

Clyde Snow Board of Directors Elects Two New Shareholders

SALT LAKE CITY - Clyde Snow & Sessions is pleased to announce the election of Robert D. Andreasen and Katherine E. Judd as shareholders and directors by the firm’s Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2015.

Mr. Andreasen joined the firm in 2006 after graduating from Williamette University College of Law. His practice focuses on civil and real property matters as well as litigation.

Ms. Judd joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from the S.J. Quinney College of Law and completing a clerkship with the Honorable Dee Benson. Her primary focus is labor and employment law. She is currently the Utah State Bar Young Lawyers Division President.

Rodney Snow to Receive Lifetime Service Award

SALT LAKE CITY - Rodney G. Clyde Snow Team Prevails Twice for ex-Zagg CEO

A consolidated class action suit against former Zagg CEO Robert Pedersen II was dismissed Thursday by a Utah federal judge. Clyde Snow & Session’s attorneys for Pedersen, D. Loren Washburn, Jennifer A. James and Brent R. Baker, are pleased by the outcome and expect a pending appeal in the Tenth Circuit to also end in the favor of the officers and directors. A similar suit was dismissed in February finding in favor of Pedersen. Judge Dee Benson found that Pedersen did not knowingly mislead investors. Read more, Salt Lake Tribune.

Clyde Snow Paralegal Takes First Place in Ironman Boulder

SALT LAKE CITY - Kara Bankhead, a paralegal at Clyde Snow & Sessions, took first place in her age group division in Ironman Boulder beating the second place finisher by 23 seconds.

An Ironman is a triathlon that includes a 2.4 mile open water swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run which she completed in 11 hours and 12 minutes. This win qualifies her to compete in the 2014 Ironman Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii this October.

Attorney James Anderson Joins Clyde Snow

SALT LAKE CITY - Clyde Snow & Sessions is pleased to announce that attorney James W. Anderson has joined their Salt Lake City office. Mr. Anderson’s law practice will span all areas of business and commercial law, including bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, and workouts, litigation, entity formation, tax planning, general business and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Clyde Snow, he worked as an attorney for a recognized local firm.
