SALT LAKE CITY—April 18, 2011— Jonathan S. Clyde, Clyde Snow & Sessions associate, was recently confirmed a board member of Utah Open Lands.
Clyde was invited by directors earlier this month to join the Utah Open Lands board, a non-profit land trust association dedicated to protecting Utah's land from over-development. Along with the 10 other board members, he will dedicate time every month to maintaining existing agreements and promoting preservation of Utah's open land through conservation easements and education.
"Growing up here and being involved in skiing, cycling, hiking, etc., I've always enjoyed and valued open space," Mr. Clyde said. "This gives me an opportunity to protect open space and give back to the community so future generations can also enjoy Utah's natural heritage."
Mr. Clyde is the third Clyde Snow attorney to serve on the Utah Open Lands board, joining Steven E. Clyde (former chair) and Matthew A. Steward. He is a member of Clyde Snow's Natural Resources and Water Law Practice Group with particular interest in water quality issues.
