Shelby Jaye Hughes focuses her practice on business, construction, and real estate litigation. She has experience handling high-stakes disputes ranging from complex class actions to individual commercial lawsuits. Ms. Hughes has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including contract disputes, trade secret litigation, defamation, restrictive covenant enforcement, employment disputes, and land use matters. She also represents clients in appeals before Utah’s appellate courts and has represented court-appointed receivers responsible for administering receivership estates with assets exceeding $23 million.
Outside the office, Shelby enjoys running, skiing, and watching football (Boomer Sooner & Go Birds!), baseball (Go Phils!), and basketball (Thunder Up!), as well as spending time with her husband, their son, and their rescue dog, Sofie.
