Bio
Clark W. Sessions
Trial Lawyer and Leader in Utah Family Law
For more than six decades, Clark Sessions represented clients in some of Utah’s most complex and high-stakes matters.
Clark earned his associate degree from Weber State University in 1958, his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah in 1960, and his law degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1962. Before merging with Clyde Snow & Sessions, he was a founding partner of a local law firm.
His practice covered high-asset divorce, eminent domain, and complex business litigation, and he represented individuals, businesses, and condemning agencies. One of his most historic victories was filing the first lawsuit against the United States over the Swine Flu vaccination for failing to disclose its risks. After winning that case, the 10th Circuit Judge appointed Clark to represent and coordinate all Swine Flu cases in the Western United States.
His peers have long recognized Clark as a leader in family law in the state. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Family Law and Family Law Mediation since 1989 and was named Best Lawyers’ Family Law Lawyer of the Year in 2012. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Clark’s experience and judgment remain a resource for our attorneys and a lasting part of Clyde Snow’s legacy.
