In an incredible win, Julia D. Kyte and Jake S. Taylor received a favorable ruling on a Motion for Summary Judgment for their client, former prosecutor Craig Johnson. This matter has been a twelve-year run that was initially filed locally and was appealed to the Tenth Circuit twice. After the Appeals Court dismissed several causes of action against our client, the Plaintiff then filed an appeal for the third time on only one cause of action in 2022.
After several more years of appeals and reversals, the Court has officially granted our client’s Motion for Summary Judgment and closed the case. The Court ultimately found there is no evidence or facts to support any basis of argument for the Plaintiff in this matter. The Plaintiff chose not to appeal the decision.
We are thrilled to have such talented attorneys representing our firm and providing thorough representation and support to our clients.
